In psychology, a schema is a mental framework that helps individuals organize, process, and store information about their environment.
As CyberPunk//CypherPunk evolved films like 'Hackers' and 'The Matrix's took us all by storm. Each of us followed our own white rabbit. There always was the unmistakable rush to creating a code-name like Neo, to be somebody yet not be known; to be silently famous in the shadows.
You were cool if you knew the PayPhone reset codes.
That's how we identified each other. No BS just brains and the the will to be a phreak. I'm painting a bleak and dark-🕶️-side to our youth and childhood, but still we had fun. It was our way of life back then.
We had our own Matrix to break out of.
So, yes Neo...There is no spoon...
It's a way of thinking, a series and pattern of thoughts that we learned from childhood that are now engraved in our minds. Sure, we can unlearn them all with a 🫰, but where would the fun be in that.
